In Berlin’s Cité Foch district, ALHO delivered eleven turnkey residential buildings providing 179 apartments and approximately 15,600 m² of living space.

Built using modern modular construction, the project makes an important contribution to creating affordable housing in the German capital. The high degree of off-site prefabrication significantly reduced construction time as well as noise and dust on site. Several building types were combined to create an attractive and vibrant residential environment.

One of the buildings was realised using a sustainable timber-hybrid construction approach. The project demonstrates how serial and modular construction can deliver economical, sustainable and architecturally sophisticated solutions for modern residential developments.
