ÜBERSEEINSEL GmbH is a nationally and internationally operating real estate project developer and property owner – focusing on projects involving renewable energy infrastructure, tourism as well as neighbourhood and urban development.
In Bremen’s Überseestadt, ÜBERSEEINSEL has set itself the task of developing the former Kellogg site into a modern urban district. On a total development area of 250,000 m2, new spaces for work, life and leisure are being created in both new buildings as well as in revitalised existing properties. The project includes a variety of residential and commercial units as well as generous green and leisure areas. A future-oriented energy concept and a sustainable mobility scheme are to connect all the properties and projects of Überseeinsel to create a highly liveable city.
These approaches also characterise other current projects of ÜBERSEEINSEL GmbH. On the Borkum Reede, it developed an offshore quarter for employees of the adjacent wind farms. After the successful start-up with 115 flats, a restaurant and warehouses, the second construction phase is now pending.
On the Danish island of Rømø, the company is planning flats for offshore service staff as well as tourist apartments and a hotel.
