The good development potential of the retail and office building in Düsseldorf's Schadowstrasse, which was built in 1953 and partially renovated in 2018, is based on its macro location: the North Rhine-Westphalian state capital enjoys above-average purchasing power and centrality and is considered one of the best and healthiest retail locations in Germany. And also the micro location in the shopping mile Schadowstrasse with its high footfall and future upgrading as a pedestrian zone is attractive. The property has a rentable area of around 1,500 m², which is used by WMF and four office tenants on the upper floors.
Hanningtons Estate has been partially re-developed to create a new Lane, a new entrance to the historic Lanes from North Street and exciting new spaces for shops, restaurants and cafés/bars out of the disused former service yard. The official opening was April 2019. The Estate is centrally located for easy access to the labyrinth of narrow Lanes and adjacent attractions which make a trip to Brighton unique. The Masterplan development comprises of a redeveloped and reconfigured long retail frontage on North Street, a 13 shop new ‘Lane’ all individually designed by a local Award winning architect and residential and commercial space. The Lanes have established themselves as part of Brighton’s iconic heritage, representing a beacon for tourists and shoppers. Located directly between the North and South lanes and between the mass market Churchill Square and East Street pitches, Hanningtons Estate is assured a consistently high footfall.
In January 2018 Redevco has launched the redevelopment works for the C&A department store building located on 18 Septemberplein in the Southern Dutch city of Eindhoven. Redevco is transforming the 9,000 sqm of retail space currently spread over four floors into a new and up-to-date shopping centre which will meet the functional demands of modern retailing. By distributing space more efficiently, the building will be able to accommodate additional tenants. The redevelopment works involve the demolition of the 3rd and 4th floors, the heighting of the now relatively low 2nd floor and the replacement of the 3rd floor at a higher level. The neighbouring Redevco assets will also be integrated in the main building. Sustainability measures to be taken entail solar panels, green on the roof and façade, and the use of energy efficient escalators and elevators to ensure that a BREEAM Excellent certification can be reached. Completion is expected for January 2020.

The iconic project is designed to become a dynamic and vibrant place and enhance the attractiveness of the entire rue de Béthune. The opening is scheduled for 2020.
