Munich - 05.10.2022. Disneyland^® Paris, Europe's most visited tourist destination, is celebrating its 30th Anniversary this year. What few people know: The birth of Europe's largest theme park more than three decades ago simultaneously launched one of the most comprehensive regional development and urban planning projects in Europe - Val d'Europe. Today, Val d'Europe is an example of successful urban development and one of the strongest business locations in France. For the next phase in the development plan, Val d’Europe, together with the real estate division of Disneyland Paris, which is responsible for developing an area totalling around 2,118 hectares, is now specifically looking for international investors and project developers. Further diversification will also occur – in addition to tourism and service sectors, education, digital, health and biotech sectors are of particular interest. Companies and start-ups from Germany are also being targeted. 

Growth potential and prospects for investors and companies

The further development of the region opens up unheard of potential for investors and project developers, as around 50 percent of the area has been developed today. The next phase of the urbanization plan will see the other 50 percent of the area developed. Currently, around 70 hectares of land are available for projects of all kinds. In addition, roughly 300,000 square metres of office space and 300,000 square metres of commercial space are slated to be developed in the next ten years.
